How does hiring help INCREASE cashflow?!

Initially, hiring help feels like an expense.  But it soon becomes obvious that the administrative budget quickly makes up for itself in the increase and consistency of cash flow, close rate and repeat business.

How does this happen?

1. Consistency.  When you only follow up with leads sometimes it shows in your bottom line.  And when your follow ups have no true strategy behind them you could be wasting your time with outreach that doesn’t convert to paying customers.

2. Consistency, again. When business is booming and you’re swamped, you will likely push nurturing leads to the bottom of the to do list.  You don’t need them, right?!  Then, when things slow down and you are looking for work again you give them a call and guess what? They already paid your competitor… Following up with every lead, every time, even during busy times is how you eliminate the “peaks and valleys” of service work.

3. Did I say Consistency yet? You know all those tiny moving part of your business that you sometimes forget about? Your customer see that.  And while they might be forgiving in the moment, the chance of them referring family and friends to someone who “says they will email you and forgets so you have to call and remind them” is slim to none. 

I know what you’re thinking.. “Crystal, I will just be more consistent.”  No, you won’t.

Seriously, that isn’t an insult.  You are the OWNER of the company.  You do not and will not ever have the time and mental space to be consistent with administrative work.  And if you do find yourself in that role, then you need to hire a CEO because somebody has to be the visionary driving the company forward.
